- Get 240 ml all purpose flour
- You need 15 ml ground ginger
- Get 10 ml baking powder
- Use 5 ml ground cinnamon

- Prepare 1 egg
- Prepare 60 ml molasses

- Prepare baking trays with baking paper and spray to grease
- Preheat oven at 170c (between 180 and 140)
- Sift the flour, ginger, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt into a mixing bowl. Stir the mixture to blend evenly, and sift a second time into another bowl.
- Place the butter into a mixing bowl and beat until creamy. Gradually beat in the white sugar. Beat in the egg, and molasses. Sift 1/3 of the flour mixture into the butter mixture and mix thoroughly. Sift in the remaining flour mixture, and mix together until a soft dough forms
- Pinch off small amounts of dough and roll into balls between your hands. Roll each ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture
- Place balls on baking tray and press down lightly with a fork.
- Place in you preheated oven and bake for about 15minutes (baking time vary depending on your oven. Best to keep an eye on the biscuits to ensure they don't burn)
- Cool, eat and enjoy.
